The candidate
A UX/UI Designer with a strong foundation in user experience, interaction design, as well as graphic and visual design skills.
You should be a natural problem solver with the ability to combine UX thinking with design execution to create elegant solutions for web and mobile. You are able to take digital design concepts from ideation and wireframe to high-fidelity prototypes. You should be a great collaborator, able to bridge the gap between our design and development teams, suggesting ideal workflows and making developer handoff seamless.
You are able to contribute to web strategy, with the experience and confidence to lead processes and shape briefs.
You are at the forefront of contemporary web design trends and tools, with a wealth of knowledge to help us innovate, understand user needs, and create the best solution for the job.
Skills and requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in creative agencies and/or publishers
- A portfolio of stunning visual and interactive design solutions
- A strong knowledge of current design tools for web, particularly Sketch and Invision, in combination with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
- A great eye for detail, with solid foundations in layout and good design principles
- A working knowledge of HTML and CSS (Javascript considered a bonus)
- Extensive knowledge of UX best practices
- The ability to work to and innovate within brand guidelines for our clients, pushing them when necessary
- You are able to bring data to life through data visualisation and infographics
- The ability to present design ideas to both internal and external stakeholders with clarity and with an open-minded approach to feedback
