Reporting into the Strategic Partnerships Director, this new Partnerships Manager role will help establish new relationships with media agencies (Advertising, Marketing and PR). The role requires an individual that has an impressive commercial track record and can hit and exceed annual revenue targets. In addition, you will work closely with the online and editorial team to ensure the smooth running of client campaigns.

You will have the opportunity to grow accounts and relationships with the ability to sell Raconteur’s full portfolio of publishing products. From Special Reports published in The Times to lead generation and digital content campaigns, you will have exposure to top-level content production and assist the editorial and production teams in overseeing marketing projects for some of the world’s best-known brands.

This role has the potential to expand quickly in the future and will require the successful candidate to have an entrepreneurial spirit and be a best-in-class networker.

 Top responsibilities

·      Prospect and engage with media agencies, opening doors to kickstart new media agency relationships

·      Engage with Director-level prospects to educate them on the wider Raconteur product portfolio. Build strong relationships with key accounts with a focus on face-to-face meetings and client entertainment where appropriate

·      Respond to inbound RFPs from existing media agency accounts

·      Liaise with internal stakeholders, such as design, editorial and production, to help steer client campaigns and ensure their success

·      Keep the agency landscape up-to-date with Raconteur’s publishing schedule and come up with innovative ways to market the brand and keep us front-of-mind

The ideal candidate:

·      2-5 years experience, either working in a commercial capacity within a media agency, or in a commercial capacity selling to media agencies

·      Experience of working directly with commercial B2B clients

·      Brilliant relationship-building and communication skills

·      Solid understanding of digital marketing and publishing solutions

·      Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and be highly organised

·      Experience of liaising with very senior external stakeholders (Director-level+)

Remuneration & Additional benefits:

·      £40k – 45k basic salary with commission based on hitting sales targets
