Title: Talent and Inclusion Manager

Reports to: Managing Director

The Role

You will work closely with our Managing Director and senior management team to understand and plan the talent requirements for alan. and construct strategies to improve recruitment performance, with a focus on encouraging diversity.

You'll shape and manage the processes required to identify and hire exceptional people whilst offering our candidates an engaging and positive recruitment and on-boarding experience. You'll also have the opportunity to input into alan. agency’s employer brand strategy, as well as developing creative initiatives and partnerships to help you hit your hiring targets. Furthermore, you’ll spearhead our internal inclusion and wellbeing initiatives to ensure all of our staff feel welcome and part of the team.

Please note that this is not an HR role and a large emphasis will be placed on direct talent acquisition, without relying on recruitment agencies. As such, we are specifically looking for someone with a background in recruitment and candidates who do not meet this criteria will not be considered. Top Responsibilities:

 

● Build and maintain high quality and diverse talent pipelines in line with the current and future hiring needs of each division at alan. agency (using Linkedin Recruiter, job boards and other channels)

● Spearhead company-wide Diversity & Inclusion initiatives alongside our counterpart on the Publishing side of the Raconteur Media business

● Build and manage alan. agency employment channels (website, ATS, Linkedin Recruiter, Instagram etc)

● Design and perfect a best in class recruitment and on-boarding experience for all new hires

● Screen all first round candidates and schedule follow up interviews with divisional heads 

● Launch a development program for junior agency talent

● Provide input and ideas to deliver a vibrant office and virtual working culture that brings people across the business together and supports their wellbeing

● Support departmental heads with the wider strategy for development and retention of existing talent

 

Must Haves:

 

● Experience of successfully recruiting people through Linkedin Recruiter and/ or other methods

● A real passion for people, understanding of the value of equality, diversity and inclusion (ED&I) as well as broad people skills

● Excellent organisational and time management skills, and able to work autonomously 

● An interest in B2B Marketing and experience working within an SME environment
