As Raconteur expands, we are looking to hire a Project Manager (Media) to join our growing commercial content team. The ideal candidate will be able to manage commercial content projects end-to-end, exceeding clients’ requirements while upholding Raconteur’s high editorial and communication standards.

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Content, this role will work closely with our team of commercial content editors as well as sales leads to deliver client projects. This includes managing all client comms, internal production processes, logistics, and client feedback.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a B2B publishing business and have managed sponsored content campaigns from start to finish. They should be used to dealing with senior executives at big businesses and enjoy managing relationships, making sure clients receive the highest level of service for their campaigns.

The role offers exposure to and input on product strategy, supporting the pitching process, and leading on the project management and client management of a range of content campaigns, including advertorials, roundtables, small in-person events and digital reports, content hubs, and content series.

Raconteur’s commercial content team is in its infancy, so this is a fantastic opportunity to join at a key time and progress within the company. 

Key responsibilities:

  1. Be the main point of contact for day to day relationships with clients
  2. Project manage the delivery of sponsored content campaigns, ensuring delivery deadlines are hit, campaigns are delivered within budget, and client's expectations are exceeded
  3. Work collaboratively across editorial, sales, and production teams to ensure excellence throughout the process
  4. Create and manage project estimates and timelines updating them as appropriate
  5. Recognise the simultaneous need for rigorous adherence to process and the flexibility to adapt to inevitable changes along the way
  6. Lead new client on-boarding process
  7. Manage clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is kept fully informed at all times

The ideal candidate:

  1. Experience working directly with commercial B2B clients
  2. Experience in end-to-end project management of sponsored editorial projects
  3. An understanding of a variety of publishing formats
  4. Ability to prioritise multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and adapt to changes quickly both internally and externally
  5. Can-do attitude and an ability to work under pressure
  6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
