Junior Audience Analyst
Raconteur is looking for a Junior Audience Analyst to join its expanding data team. The core focus of the role is to provide data-driven insights and recommendations to editorial and commercial stakeholders. Working closely with the Head of Data and Raconteur’s content teams, the Junior Audience Analyst will help improve the performance of Raconteur’s content.
Raconteur is embarking on a significant period of growth in its editorial and data functions and the role will be an integral part of this growth.
The successful candidate will have a unique opportunity to learn about the internal workings of a modern digital publisher and be a vital component of an award-winning content team. Gaining experience in analytics platforms and data analysis, the candidate will be able to combine these skills with their understanding and passion for content to show how data can attract the right audiences.
The ideal candidate will have a journalism or digital journalism degree or the equivalent, along with a keen interest in analytics.
Responsibilities:
Enhance your knowledge about presenting data in new and interesting ways, using data visualisation tools and tell stories about the content using numbers & facts
Become an expert in using Google Analytics through professional training and assume ownership of the platform
Gain advanced knowledge of how content tracking works and how it helps measure performance using advanced metrics
Deliver findings with confidence to the editorial team and nurture relationships with key stakeholders within the editorial team by building a rapport
Use your training to support Head of Data & the wider Content team in any data-led inquiries and be at the forefront of leading initiatives based on actionable insights
Essentials:
A Journalism or Digital Journalism degree or equivalent
A demonstrated curiosity in analytics
Demonstrated usage of Excel/Google sheets
An analytical mindset with a demonstrated curiosity in the field of data
