The role
Raconteur Agency is a leading B2B marketing agency at the beginning of an ambitious growth phase following significant investment. Critical to this growth will be the expansion of the agency’s strategy team, who are responsible for shaping, creating and delivering our client projects.
Content Strategists run the show when it comes to project delivery, consulting clients on bespoke content and marketing strategy, alongside owning the full end-to-end content creation process.
Joining a team of 4 strategists, we are looking for a strategist who can help to expand our digital marketing capabilities.
The role boasts an incredibly varied day to day, from storyboarding videos to writing editorial briefs, directing infographic design and creating research surveys - a hybrid of a managing editor, project manager, client liaison and marketing strategist.
Key responsibilities:
- Developing content strategies for b2b businesses across different industries
- Researching and writing sophisticated editorial briefs for multimedia thought leadership content; commissioning subject matter expert journalists, editing and proofing editorial copy
- Working with the in-house design team to create innovative editorial and web design; directing data storytelling
- Designing proprietary research proposals and questionnaires, as well as analysing survey results
- Managing and building strong client relationships, and being day to day point of contact
- Supporting sales teams and Account Directors on proposals, pitches and meetings for both new and existing business
- Drive digital innovation and solutions within the strategy team
Key skills:
- Inquisitive and creative mind, ability to generate original ideas
- Understanding and appreciation of content marketing
- Excellent communication skills, an analytical mind and a talent for organisation
- Digital marketing experience
- Account / client stakeholder management experience
Ultimately, someone with the intelligence to assimilate complex information, and the artistry to see the story and the creativity to come up with winning ideas that really count.
