At Raconteur, we make three BIG commitments to all our staff: that you can be yourself, influence the company and grow your career
Be yourself
We believe that everyone does their best work when they can truly be themselves. This means that whatever your background, interests, personality or situation, we won't try to change who you are or ask you to "fit in". We want to celebrate what makes us all different and unique, and encourage individual views and contributions. By celebrating diversity of thought and experiences we can ensure people feel included at all times and fully contribute to life at Raconteur.
Influence the company
We believe a good idea can come from anywhere and that everyone will have their own thoughts on how we can improve as a business, whether they've worked for us for six weeks or six years. We want to hear your feedback on our culture, our products, our processes, our policies and any other aspect of working at Raconteur - and we promise to listen to them. After all, if everyone is feeding in great ideas, we have a much better chance of making the right decisions for the business and its people. It's a win-win for everyone.
Grow your career
We believe everyone who works at Raconteur should have the opportunity to develop their career. We want people to make the most of their time with us by learning new skills, experiencing new things, and having the opportunity to learn and be challenged. We offer internal and external training to support our people's development, a mentorship programme and clear routes for progression.
And these are not just empty commitments, in 2022, we won the PPA Award for media brand of the year - a sign of how well every aspect of the company, from writers to designers, sales to commercial content, recruitment to finance, have pulled together to build a brand that can take on - and beat - the best in the industry. Furthermore, in 2019, we won the AOP Award for 'Employer Excellence', recognising the work we put into employee engagement, wellbeing, CSR, and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
We're seriously ambitious about our growth plans and key to that future success is our people. If the above sounds exciting and you're interested in opportunities to become a Raconteur, we would love to hear from you!
