A day in the life of a...Senior Digital Publisher
It has been just over a year and a half since I joined the Raconteur digital team which started more as an idea and has since become an amazing product that involved content and guaranteed leads and views for our amazing clients.
Seeing the product change and the team develop gave me the opportunity to be part of something great, where my opinions and input mattered. Now as the Senior Digital Strategist I have a great team working alongside me designed to bridge the gap between our print publishers and the content marketing agency. Working with individual brands to tell their brand story through content gives me a chance to learn about different industries and products and changing markets, whilst becoming the personal contact for the clients we partner with in this division.
Whilst I like to think I am the funniest member of the team I am surrounded by 3 other digital publishers who add the occasional joke to make our team really fun and this reflects in our enthusiasm for the job. We are always looking for newbies to help us grow with the ultimate objective of this product being part of our wider publishing arm. Encouraging clients to participate in print and digital with attached deliverables to make us B2B content marketing partner of choice.
Team night outs, lunch dates, drinks in the kitchen or the pub are part of every quarter and give the team a chance to interact and get to know the wider publishing team who we worked very closely with. Although sometimes this interaction expands outside our immediate group, giving us a chance to spend time outside the office with the content, design and distribution teams that turn our sale into a successful campaign end-to-end.
The beauty of a 65 person office is we are all really one single team! Everyone has their place but with the single goal of making Raconteur the agency to remember.
